Hello, world — jacking in

Why I built this site, and what you'll find here.

I've been meaning to have a personal site for… a while. I kept bouncing off it because I couldn't decide what it was for. Portfolio? Blog? A résumé I would inevitably forget to update? In the end I stopped worrying about the category and just started building, and here we are.

So, hi. I'm Bruno Guimaraes, fullstack dev. I mostly care about web systems that are fast and don't wake me up at 3am.

A few things I want this site to be, roughly in order of honesty:

1. Somewhere to dump notes I'd otherwise lose in an Obsidian vault or a Notion page I never open again.
2. A portfolio that looks like where I actually work, which is a terminal with too many tabs and not enough discipline.
3. An excuse to write silly frontend code. There are 13 hidden things on the homepage. Some of them are dumb. I'm not sorry.
